The Option Beemo USB 2.0  dongle is selling for just £139.99 and comes with a free EE 4G Sim and the first month of the 4G contract is completely free and after that it’s just £15.99 a month on a rolling 30-day contract.

The Option Beemo comes with a free EE 4G SIM card bringing you 5GB of data per month on a 30 day contract, but if you activate the SIM before 28th Feb 2013 you will receive a free month on your SIM card.

If you’re about to run over your limit you’ll get an alert, and you can buy an add-on from £6 for 500MB. In addition, the dongle will receive free Wi-Fi access to any of the 4.5 Million BT Wi-Fi hot spots across the UK.

The Beemo works with Mac and Windows operating systems – Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, but no mention of Windows 8 and Mac OS (10.5.8 or later).

Naturally it also connects to 3G transmitters if you’re outside of the 4G zones. Download speeds for the device are quoted at 100 Mb per second (Mbps) and upload speeds of 50 Mbps on 4G, and the built-in 2 × 2 MIMO antenna will get you 42 Mbps download and 5.76 Mbps upload speeds on HSUPA connections.
